Improving Access To Quality Health Care
The M.A.M.A international medical mission trip provides short term volunteer opportunities abroad for medical professionals, dental professionals, students, and non-medical volunteers with any level of experience. Our medical and dental clinics provide free healthcare and health education in rural areas of Jamaica where healthcare is difficult to obtain or limited.
Our team makes all arrangements for our volunteers or medical teams, including all in-country air and ground transportation, all applicable VISA fees, airport departure taxes, international travel insurance, all meals, housing while in our host country, equipment, supplies, and medicines to operate our clinics.
The M.A.M.A Mission Team spends one week at the Granville Home of Safety. Classes on personal hygiene, self awareness, and self esteem are given. The week culminates with a Barbeque on Friday afternoon for the Granville residents and staff.
